TRADITION • PRIDE • SUCCESS
Waterfowling on the Eastern Shore is a local tradition. It is not uncommon to see three generations hunting together in the same blind. Here at Gale Winds we take pride in this very tradition. My father taught me, and I will teach my son. After twenty plus years as a private club, we are opening to the public. The values of conservation, education and good fellowship stem much further than hunting. For these reasons we want to offer this rich experience to you.
On any given evening during the fall, you will see hundreds of Canadian Geese roosting on our ponds. We leave up plenty of standing corn after harvest. Our ponds are naturally planted with a variety of grains. After every season our pits and blinds are refitted. In late summer they are all rebrushed. Our big feet decoys are touched up and our silhouettes repainted. Our floating rigs are restrung and anchored. You will find our guides to be professional, friendly and informative. All our retrievers are professionally trained. Haley brought back her hunters over one hundred Geese during the '06 season.
Gales Winds works very hard in the off months to afford you the best return on your investment. We scout our farms daily during the season in order to place you where the birds are. We look forward to hunting with you this fall "Where the Honkers Meet the Heat"!
| Sincerely, William P. Gale |
